Social evening

Mikulov Castle will open its gardens and representative halls to conference participants, offering a beautiful setting for an evening stroll, entertainment, and informal discussions.

Transport and parking

The town of Mikulov is located on the main route between Brno and Vienna, close to the D2 motorway from Brno to Bratislava. It is located in the Břeclav district in the South Moravian Region, 18 kms (11,5 miles) west of Břeclav, near the Drasenhofen border crossing to the Austrian province of Lower Austria, on the southern edge of the Pavlovské vrchy hills.

The town of Mikulov is located

  • 50 km (31 miles) from Brno,
  • 100 km (62 miles) from Vienna Airport
  • 100 km (62 miles) from Bratislava
  • 250 km (156 miles) from Prague.

The town is also accessible by train on the Břeclav – Znojmo railway route.

Parking for conference participants will be available at the following car parks (areas):

  • in the courtyard of the Galant Hotel (Mlýnská 2, Mikulov),
  • external car park in the vicinity of the hotel, including municipal car park.

Accommodation

Accommodation for conference participants and those attending the social evening has been reserved at the Galant Hotel. Each participant is responsible for confirming their own reservation and paying directly at the hotel reception.
